COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The Management and College have adopted a small village Vagudad in the Lodhika Tensile of Rajkot district and regular visit is paid by Management Representative, Teachers and Team of Students every year in month January. It has brought about substantial alterations in the rural community from Education to Health, Drinking Water to Hygiene Awareness etc.
Management offers enormous aid by raising fund for blind, crippled, old age home, orphanages etc. Students of the college also offer their volunteer services
Students of our college raise the fund for the martyr’s family.
SOCIAL WORK
In event of natural calamities of viZ: earthquake, flood, cyclone etc students and teachers of the college go door to door of the society and collect he financial aid, commodities, medicines etc for the affected people. More over staff and students work as volunteers at the relief camp of trust.
Drug bank is also formed and collected medicines are donated to Govt. Hospital.
Departmental forums organizes various social activities such as visit to orphan home, old age home, bagger home, Each one Teach one scheme at slums, distribution of cloths, refreshment, juice, Books & stationery, Tree Plantation etc.
AWARNESS PROGRAMMES
Students visits diverse centers or blood banks and assist the doctors or supporting staff in blood grouping and also work as volunteers in the immunization programs.
Annual Yoga Meditation Shibir is well thought-out in the campus for the multidimensional growth of students.
Students participate in various awareness programs, viz AIDS, Thalassemia etc.
MEDICAL CAMP
Medical check up is compulsory for the students those who are participating in NCC and sports activities and is done in cooperation with Civil Hospital.
Thallasamia Test is compulsory for all the new entrants and is conducted in cooperation with NGO. Science College organises NESTROF test camp at college premises during every academic year.
Management organises General Medical Camps at its hospital at Kangsiyali and also in nearby the remote villages
